A focused professional relationship to help you think clearly, strengthen your commercial understanding and build a business that supports your ambitions.
Why Business Coaching
When you run a business, you make the decisions, manage the risks and take responsibility when things go wrong. Coaching gives you somewhere to discuss those decisions openly.
Step away from day-to-day pressures to consider the bigger picture. Sometimes the most valuable contribution is someone experienced questioning an assumption, challenging your thinking or helping you see an alternative approach.
01
An outside viewpoint on your challenges, decisions and opportunities.
02
Discuss your options, question assumptions and consider the commercial implications.
03
Develop a clearer understanding of pricing, operating costs, profit margins and the income your business needs to provide.
04
Identify improvements to systems, time management and everyday operations.
05
Establish achievable objectives instead of constantly reacting to problems.
06
Review agreed actions, discuss obstacles and track progress between meetings.
Who It's For
01
Explore the commercial and personal realities of starting a business: income requirements, likely costs, pricing, risks and finding customers.
02
Discuss profitability, growth, service development, customer acquisition, systems, delegation and the decisions that shape the business.
03
Bring commercial structure to your technical expertise, with clearer pricing, marketing, organisation and control over your working time.
No established business is required. Coaching is tailored to your stage, circumstances and objectives. Where regulated financial, legal or investment advice is needed, I'll suggest speaking to a qualified specialist.
The Owner, the Business & the Plan
Your preferred income, working hours, family priorities and long-term security inform the direction of your business. We connect those objectives with its commercial reality.
01
Start with what you want your business to achieve for you: personal income, working hours, family priorities, financial security and long-term independence. Consider your strengths and where you would like to develop.
02
Look at how the business operates: pricing, profitability, operating costs, sales, marketing, cash flow awareness, organisation and systems — including how dependent it is on you.
03
Agree realistic priorities that bring the business closer to your objectives. Put improvements into practice, then review progress and refine the next steps together.
This is a personalised approach, not a rigid checklist or fixed methodology. Not every subject is covered in every meeting: we focus on your current priorities.
Your private 60-minute monthly meeting takes place via Zoom or Google Meet, personally with Neil. We focus on your business, current challenges and the decisions you need to make.
Following the conversation, Neil prepares your personalised written summary and agreed action plan. Between meetings you implement the actions; at the next session, we review progress, discuss obstacles and agree the next priorities.

Commitment & Development
Some challenges can be addressed quickly. Others involve changes to pricing, financial management, marketing, systems, delegation or the way your business is organised. Those changes take time to plan, introduce, measure and refine.
That's why the programme begins with a minimum three-month commitment: time to understand the business, establish priorities and begin implementing improvements.
For many founders and directors, meaningful improvement may take six to twelve months, sometimes longer. The objective isn't dependence on a coach — it's developing the understanding, confidence and commercial skills to manage your business more effectively.
Months 1–3
Assess your current position, identify priorities and begin implementing changes.
Months 4–6
Review results, address obstacles and refine the approach.
Months 7–9
Improve organisational habits, decision-making and business processes.
Months 10–12
Assess longer-term progress and consider the next stage of development.
This is an illustrative journey, not a fixed programme or guarantee of results. Every business and business owner is different.
Minimum initial commitment: three months. Coaching may continue monthly afterwards, subject to the agreed terms. Twelve months is not mandatory.
